  1. You've posed some intriguing questions, Kazunari. I'm especially curious about question #18. What is the "Code of Hammurabi"?

Despite some possible overlap with one of Kenta's questions (your Ques. 16), your questions are interesting and complement Kenta's set of questions well. I look forward to seeing the fruits of your research.

    Cheers,

  2. I think that there are no right and wrong answers to death penalty, but more of a factual issue.
I do not understand why there are differences in death penalty throughout the world.
Why did they ban electrical chairs?

    1. I'm not sure myself but I think they banned it because sometimes the victim would catch fire leading to a gruesome death.

    2. I heard that they banned electrical chairs because hanging takes about an hour and it gives more pain to the condemned criminals. Furthermore, the executioner feels less guilty.
